About this event
Spirituality • Buddhism
Is the caterpillar you see the end of its journey? No — its story is one of transformation, not an ending. Yet, this is how we often see ourselves — fixed, limited, and unchanging. How many days do we spend believing that our current state defines who we truly are? How many moments do we waste carrying the weight of old thoughts, unaware that we, too, are meant to transform — to emerge as the butterfly, light and free, untouched by the shadows of the past?
From a single thought to the course of our lives, everything arises through conditions — constantly changing, dissolving, and reappearing in new forms. The mind, too, can evolve — shedding what no longer serves and opening to a lighter, freer state of being.
So, will you choose to remain confined, or will you open your wings?
Join us at this retreat, where Buddhism and science meet. Step into an exploration of the mind — its illusions, its power, and its potential for freedom. Learn to purify, renew, and truly detox your mind.
About the speakers
The retreat will be fully guided by Ven. Nivathapa Thero and Ven. Dr. Mahinda Thero from Jethavanarama Monastery. The venerables have been conducting many teaching activities such as residential and day retreats, seminars, workshops etc. across Australia and around the world (New Zealand, Singapore, UK, Italy, South Korea, Dubai, Israel).
Ven. Nivathapa Thero:
