Ananda once said to the Buddha:
“Half of this holy life, Lord, is good and noble friends, companionship with the good, association with the good.”
Buddha replied:
“Do not say that Ananda. It is the whole of this holy life, this friendship, this companionship, this association with the good.”
Become a Member
Before becoming a member, we request you to listen to our sermons and actively engage with our programs. If you are happy with the direction we are providing and wish to support us in spreading this message in Australia, then only we recommend you apply for membership.
Membership is not mandatory to attend our programs or to engage with us in any way. The membership fee will go towards any admin related expenses and will play a big part in taking forward the teachings of Lord Buddha to those who seek it.
How do I apply
Membership is by invitation only. You must get an invitation from an existing member to apply for either of the two types of memberships. The General membership gives you voting rights and an Associate membership will not provide any voting rights.
Select the membership category you are applying under and choose the appropriate membership form and follow the instructions provided. Once the form has been submitted, the membership committee will let you know through email whether your application has been approved.
